It was meant to be that we met and get to work with Jackie + Sean.  When contacted me for an engagement session, I could have only dreamed that their wedding plans were on our favorite beach in Maui.  Jackie wanted to stay true to the native surroundings for the engagement session and save the dates, and that we did. They are incredibly infectious, kind and easy to hang out with.  Their love can be seen from a mile away.  It was like they were teenagers in love, and I’m like “oh hey guys, over here, smile”. They have made me feel welcome from the first time we met, and I’m really looking forward to being a part of their inner circle for their wedding day. Sitting talking to them about their wedding plans was so fun, hearing about the place they love to visit often, as well as a the new boutique restaurant venue they chose for the reception part of their wedding day, along with their planner.  Sean said, “we’ll have appetizers, dinner… and then a late dinner”.  (Inside I was doing a little dance party, it’s no secret I love good food).  They want their family and close friends to enjoy the evening and eat well.

When planning your engagement session, choosing outfits can be a big task.  I love what they chose, to keep it clean and classy, with a little Hawaiian print on her maxi dress.  I always recommend 2-3 outfits during our engagement sessions, with one being a “fancier outfit”.  Dress and heels mixed with a suit or suit jacket, winner every time!  And Jackie’s ring… there are no words to how beautiful and elegant it is.  Scroll down for a macro shot of this beauty, but really it can be seen from just about every photo.  Now all that’s left to do is count down to 2018 when we get to be a part of something really special with Jackie + Sean.  Enjoy!
